MEET SARAH
Sarah Van Cleve is a somatic wellness practitioner, death doula and activist with a passion for using her voice to empower marginalized communities.

As a somatic wellness practitioner, Sarah combines intuition and science as she guides students on a transformative journey, helping them find restoration, inner peace and navigate release through the practices of yoga and sound healing. Her relaxed and inclusive teaching style fosters a space for humans of all backgrounds to explore safety in their bodies and minds.

Sarah’s commitment to social justice is an integral part of her identity. As a vocal advocate, she actively supports causes related to equality, human rights and community empowerment. Monthly, she facilitates Breathing Room Yoga’s “Yoga for People of Color,” a donation- based yoga and sound healing class. Through the thought-provoking podcast ‘Othered,’ Sarah works to create a platform dedicated to celebrating the stories and experiences of those who have often been overlooked or misunderstood in society. The podcast’s mission is to amplify local voices and center the narratives of marginalized communities.
In her role in death work,
Sarah is passionate about advocating for the necessity of end-of-life preparedness. Through education and compassionate end-of-life support, she empowers the individuals she works with to approach the experiences of life and death with knowledge, curiosity and love.
Sarah’s multifaceted journey has allowed her to weave together her diverse passions and create a meaningful impact in the lives of those around her. With her holistic approach to life and unwavering commitment to personal growth and social change, she continues to inspire others to embrace their true selves and work towards a society where everyones’ voice is heard and valued.
